Director of ESCO/Government Sales
- Close Business for company
- Work to get company specified for retrofit projects with ESCO customers and key ESCO distributors
- Promote products and services (conduct training for products and services to key customers)
- Build new partnerships
- Strengthen existing partnerships
- With the support of the internal customer service team build a quote pipeline
- Create new opportunities with Federal ESCO customers for TAA/BAA projects
- Provide excellent and unparalleled customer services inside and out
- Conduct audits (unofficial) and walk job sites to help ESCO customers and show support
- Share planning data internally with the purchasing team to help plan for large opportunities
- Provide market insight and competitive information back to company
- Be a steward and expert to the local lighting communities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or relevant work experience
- 10+ years’ experience with a demonstrated track record of success
- Advanced level of knowledge in the lighting industry strongly preferred
- Technical skills sufficient to understand process & product specification
- An innovative mindset to help analyze and improve work processes
