Energy Service Manager

A National client operating in the Energy Services sector is currently seeking an Energy Services Manager to spearhead sales and business development initiatives, aiming to enhance their footprint in the Washington market. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in formulating and executing strategies to expand the local market, simultaneously overseeing day-to-day business operations.                                                                         

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Development:

    • Identify, target, and cultivate business relationships within the Washington market, specifically focusing on school districts, government agencies, and other commercial entities.
    • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic business decisions.
  2. Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closure.
  3. Energy Optimization Solutions:

    • Collaborate with clients to conduct energy audits, assess consumption patterns, and propose customized energy optimization solutions.
    • Champion the integration of innovative technologies and practices to enhance energy efficiency for clients.
  4. Analytics Expertise:

    • Utilize advanced analytics tools to analyze energy data, providing clients with actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.
    • Collaborate with internal data scientists and analysts to continuously enhance the analytics capabilities offered to clients.
  5. Mechanical Equipment Knowledge:

    • Work closely with technical teams to assess and recommend mechanical equipment upgrades that align with energy efficiency goals.
    • Provide technical guidance to clients on the selection and implementation of cutting-edge mechanical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the energy sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy optimization strategies, analytics, and mechanical equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with the Washington energy market and relevant stakeholders is a plus.
