Target and sell our client's IoT platform to new end user accounts directly in the commercial real estate, industrial, healthcare, and retail verticals.
Responsible for fully connected solutions sale that includes hardware and SaaS.
Applies strategic value selling, consultative, and insight selling methodologies effectively to win on complex projects.
Lead for Pilot Project sales proposal, statement of work, and implementation plan with Key Accounts and End Users.
Collaborate with Distribution Channel RSM’s to develop connected solution, IoT, & partnership opportunities.
Coordinates communication for connected solutions projects with key external and internal stakeholders.
Identify, reach, and engage key decision makers and influencers through existing sales channels, networking, and industry events.
Identify, cultivate and follow up with new sales leads through new and existing channels to develop a healthy sales pipeline.
Supports sales management with strategic planning and forecasting through inputting activities into SFDC.
Conducts in person and virtual sales presentations.
Adjusts content of sales presentations depending on the Prospect and Stakeholders.
Conducts field training with key Stakeholders and Partners.
Meet and exceed sales quotas for connected solutions and IoT.
Devise sales strategies, including, evaluating performance and outcomes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, selling networked lighting and controls, enterprise software, real estate technology or building controls technology to senior executives and technical buyers at Fortune 1000 companies
Must have excellent presentation skills in person and virtually
Must have large project or enterprise sales experience
Must have technical knowledge of networking and integrated systems
Knowledge of wireless protocols: ZigBee, 6LoWPAN, BLE Mesh, other RF solutions.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or engineering
Confident and comfortable in a variety of roles that include sales and project management in order to win
